Its 31 Dec 2007...

Last day of the year...

Counting down to 2008...

So thought of posting some pictures taken over the weeks...

Guess this will be the last post for the year...

Cos of the two 20% discount vouchers i've gotten from Stand. Chart.

But the bags there werent very nice...

So i had to forgo the discounts...

In the end, i got a Nike one from Queensway.

Next is X'mas eve...

Yet we've got Metro SIF...

But its heart-warming to see generous souls donating to help the poor kids in Cambodia...

Really had lots of fun with them...

But now, i know how to make flowers, fencing swords, snakes and many more...

I made one flower and took it home...

Cos its super crowded when we went home tat night (about 9 plus)...

Then tat flower obstructed my way...

Hehe.

My first Christmas present...

Got it on the eve...

So i waited till 0000hr before i opened...

So touched to see those words in it...

Love the person who gave me the present.

Got the card on eve too.

It was from Ying Wen...

I realised tat it has got no stamp...

So she must have came all the way here to slot it in my letterbox...

Its wordy, isnt it?

Didnt expect her to see me as an efficient person though.

I thought she would think tat i'm crappy.

Haha.

Its Christmas!!!

And we bought these watches...

Actually these are for my mum's colleagues...

But...

I saw this cool watch...

So i got it for myself...

Haha.

So its sort of a Christmas present from my mum though...

Went to buy new socks too...

And ta-ta...

I'm gonna wear it to school...

Christmas night and i'm gonna meet up with my girls...

Didnt have time to blog...

First is about the class chalet last week...

I bet the guys enjoyed more than the girls...

Cos they've got their all guys night...

Nevertheless, i had fun too.

Though it had been raining for the two days that we were there...

But we managed to seek entertainment within the chalet...

For instance, BBQing at 3 a.m....

Haha...

I learnt a new game too: Hierarchy Dai Di.

Very cute way of playing da lao er...

King, queen, prince, nobleman, prostitute and ass.

I'm always in the top 3 positions, never a prostitute and an ass.

Except for once when i handed my cards over to WW or Eugene...

Cos gotta go and fetch Wing Kiong...

But in the end, i revived and became a queen again.

Lol.

As a whole, i really enjoy my time there even though it was wet every where.

But just hope that the next class outing will not be a chalet again...

Cos its troublesome and expensive...

And i wan to try something new too...

Lol.

Next is the OGL camp...

Just came back from the camp yesterday...

Not very tired though...

Still very hype...

Haha.

As usual, its about OG and mass games, mass and fun dances and songs and cheers...

I love my clan: Theta

And we are in alliance with Sigma...

Cool rite...

Anyway, we are currently stressing over our dance moves...

Guess wat we are dancing?

I love to dance...

But do u tink i can dance when i've got no experience at all?

My partner is a very cute guy...

Cute not in the sense of those one will admire...

Anyway, just hope that Benjamin and i will be able to do an excellent job in leading the J1s.

Its been a long time ever since i last ate ice cream...

Not to mention Mcflurry...

But i finally got to taste it yesterday...

And treated my bro too.

Lol.

Anyway, it was raining cats and dogs in the afternoon...

Yet i suggested to eat it in such cold weather...

Haha.

My dad objected.

But to no avail due to my persistance.

Wow!

Its so shiok to consume ice cream on rainy days than to have it on sunny days.

I tink u guys should try it if u haven...

Hehehe.

Purposely took this photo so that i could blog about it...

Lame i know.

Btw, theres something that i am very bu shuang about at first...

But i didnt blog about it...

Cos i wan to get the facts rite first...

Received the Edusave Bursary weeks ago...

Very disappointed...

Cos i've been getting scholarships for 5 years...

Then suddenly back to square (cos primary 2 to 5 i got bursary too)...

Super pissed...

Top 10% of 1000 ppl in the cohort should receive Scholarship.

I thought i couldnt even get into the top 100th position in PJ, which i felt its a bit impossible...

But i just heard from my frens tat theres no scholarship in JC (not sure whether if its true or not)...

So was relieved...

Its not the money that matters...

Its where i stand in the school tat concerns me most...

I'm just too competitive i tink...

Just a typical capricornian perhaps.

Went to watch Enchanted on Friday with JX and my bro.

Glad to have watched it instead of others.

Or else i'll be wasting my $8 for the tickets.

Anyway, its just like wat we mentioned in our written report...

Walt made fantasy into reality...

Haha...

So magical...

I bet u guys know wat is the plot about...

It all started with a fairytale...

Just like how a typical fairytale is...

The existence of a princess and of course, a prince as well.

Princess Giselle together with a wicked witch...

Then, it turned into a live action scene...

Prince Edward (James Marsden), Giselle's prince charming supposedly...

Giselle ( Amy Adams) met lawyer Robert (Patrick Dempsey) and they fell in love with each other...

Forgot to introduce the talking chipmunk, pip.

He's super cute and clever...

Love it so much...

And i only realise it now that this movie actually incorporated elements of other fairytales too...

For instance, the rats that are seen helping Giselle scrub the toilet are a reference to the forest animals that often helped Disney princesses such as Snow White and Cinderella with their housework.

And the apple that has been poisoned by the witch is also the plot of Snow White.

Such a nice story...

With a musical-based plot...

True Love's Kiss...

A nice song...

Ok.

Went for Stand. Chart. actual run day on 2 Dec...

Gotta report at Jurong east at 12.15a.m. for shuttle bus to bring us to Padang.

Of course, we have to meet up earlier...

Or else there will sure be that someone who will be late...

Anyway, we were supposed to eat supper at McDonalds...

But me and WW were not hungry...

So we decided to go play pool...

Lol.

It was my first time playing pool...

Didnt know the rules, didnt know how to grab that heavy stick...

So pai sei...

But i did manage to understand the rules after WW's explanation...

Got my first hands on...

Gosh.

My hit has got no power, no aiming and no accuracy...

Just felt so inferior...

Tats why i refused to play with him...

Cos i know that he will have no patience (as mentioned by JX)...

So i just stood around, observed how he played and waited for star to come loh...

But i'm already very happy to have learnt something new again...

I guess its the 3rd or 4th things that i've learnt this year...

Back to Stand. Chart...

Very high when we were on our way there...

Laughed throughout the whole bus journey...

Got almost 20 of us...

But not all of us were assigned to the same area...

Only Me, Ying Wen, Ning Yun and Wei Wen were separated from our group members...

But its ok...

Gotta accept it instead of harping on it...

I'm optimistic...

Despite some sarcastic remarks by the area manager...

His face was like super black loh...

Yet he told me not to be du lan...

So pissed when he said that...

Just dun like ppl to talk to me in tat manner...

Anyway, though the area manager sucks, but our leader is a nice person...

We all thought that he is in his twenties...

But never did we guess that he is 17!!!

Same age as us!!!

Lol.

He's year one in Ngee Ann or Singapore Ploy...

I can't remember...

He's just so much nicer than that idiot...

Anyway, i bet we were too high when we were on the bus...

Tat was why we died off when we were deployed at our respective area, waiting for the marathon to commence...

Haha...
