Hmmm.

Its been a long time ever since i last blogged...

Wat a horrible day today...

Got our papers back and did the checking...

Its a weird feeling that i'm having now...

Happy that i did ok for my promos...

The only terrible thing is my GP...

I'm just not feeling anything for GP...

I'm only sad that Star maybe leaving for poly...

Not sure if i'll ruin her future if i persuade her to stay...

But i really cant bear to see her leave...

Its Dexter's Birthday party!!!

Had so much fun...

Seeing the guys smashing cakes, pouring drinks and "dau pok-ing" each other...

Just couldnt stop laughing...

How i wish i were a guy...

To join in the fun...

LOL.

The guys played tennis too.

If it was not b'cos of the stupid blister on my leg, i would have played too.

Though i am not good at it...

Haha.

Its such a pity that i missed out the fun earlier in the day...

Cos of my badminton training that ended at 7.40 p.m.

I went there with an empty stomach...

In the hope to get something to fill it...

BUT...

In the end, the pizza that they saved for me was eaten up by Kiong.

:(

Haha.

Managed to get a piece of cake straight after Dexter cut it...

All thanks to Dexter and Jian Lin.

:)

Didnt get to play bridge yesterday...

Was a bit disappointed.

But wat was most disappointing was my leg though...

Went for training at 4.30 p.m.

Started with footwork and also ended with footwork...

That is to say that we actually had 3 hours of physical training...

Training was tough...

I dun mind that...

But i just dun understand why must injure my leg on the day that i should enjoy myself...

Its really dampening...

Was limping throughout the whole party...

From function room to tennis court and to Dexter's house...

If my super disgusting blister and muscle cramp doesnt heal by monday, i guess i shal skip the training then.

Haha.

Hmmm.

Went to Zhi Ying's house after the party to stay over night...

Her room was impressive...

A plasma TV, PS II, DVD player and computer...

Everything is in her room...

Wow!!!

This is so cool...

Anyway, i was very tired after the training...

So i slept super early...

12 plus...

The other 3 girls...

Power man...

Played play station till 2 plus before the lights are officially off...

But i'm still the most li hai wan...

I continued to sleep like a log despite the loud laughter, esp by Asta...

Haha. Jk...

Oh...

And she kept " pi gu-ing"...

I heard that...

But that didnt affect me...

Lol...

Then we woke up at 8 plus this morning...

And continued with our " dry swimming"...

Hehe...

I kept winning those small small tile...

To a beginner, i guess its already a big achievement...

Hope that we can still play together even after release of promos...

I believe we will.

Holiday Plan

Went for OGL interview yesterday.

Haha.

Tink like no chance le.

Selection is based on:

school knowledge
situation handling
enthusiasm
initiative

and one more that i forgot.

Anyway, the main thing is that i dun tink i can pass the interview la.

Gotta go for another interview tomolo.

Its for work shadowing.

Wanted to go for Tropical Marine Science Institute.

But got the Legal Aid.

But its still better than nothing loh.

Just hope that i can get through the interview tomolo.

We've got MP attachment.

But dunno when is my schedule.

It'll be cool to shadow a MP man.

Haha.

Metro SIF is coming up.

Will be on duty on Christmas eve if theres no changes.

$7 allowance.

But most importantly, its the CIP and 20% discount for all items in Metro on the day of duty.

Haha.

Looking forward to this meaningful event.

Must come and support k?

Its for charity anyway.

Science Focus is at mid Nov.

Will be going away to Nus to experience university life for 3 days.

Hope to make new frens and also, motivate me to see NUS as my future campus.

E- Doughnut

Forgot to share something.

Went to IMM on Sun.

Saw 曹国辉, 黄碧仁, 王建复 and Shawn (the campus superstar).

They were selling some doughnuts for 创业无敌手IV.

There were quite a number of ppl.

And we didnt went down to buy.

We were looking down from the second storey when we realised something.

Cao was actually waving to us and signaling to us to go support him.

Haha.

Didnt expect him notice us from the crowd of ppl.

So didnt really have time to react.

Only smiled at him as widely as he can see.

Was a great day afterall.

Got to see them and even have eye contact.

Wanna say, Cao has his charm!!!

BBQ

Woo!!

S25 had a bbq on monday!!!

Haha.

Quite happy to see almost full strength, except for 2 or 3 ppl who didnt turn up.

Went to Mervin's house at Cashew Heights.

Hmmm.

This was the first time that we girls had to do the cooking.

Lol.

Zhi Xiang did help in starting the fire though.

But the rest of the guys went for their soccer game.

We were not dumb anyway.

We only cooked for ZX.

The rest of them, huh, gotta cook for themselves loh.

Haha.

Anyway, JX, WW and me walked to BP Plaza to get Asta a cake.

Really glad that she liked it and that everyone enjoyed this gathering.

Will be having another gathering tomolo.

Its at Dexter's house this time.

And, its his birthday of course.

K- Box

Went to k box last Sat to celebrate Meh Meh's birthday.

Its really a long time ever since we last met.

So cool to see the familiar faces.

Sang a lot of songs (mostly without mic of course).

And had a lot of fun!!!

Hope that we could meet up real soon again.

Its a pity that the k-box at Lot 1 will be teared down.

But all the memories i had there will never be erased.

Love u girls lots.

Haha.

So emo.

Anyway, i had another k-box session on monday at JE centre.

It was Asta's birthday this time round!!!

My first time there actually.

Kinda new and unfamiliar.

But i still enjoyed myself.

Hmmm.

The room was super cold.

Lol.

The food that was served was also cold.

Btw, the food tastes horrible.

Its even worst than PJ's western food.

But that was the cheapest k-lunch i ever went to.

It costs me only 7 bucks.

Really laughed my heart out when they specially dedicate a song for me and ***

Duh.

Couldnt stop chucking.

Haha.

Anyway, wanna wish them Happy Bitrhday again!!!

ORAL PRESENTATION

Last week was a hectic wan.

Had to do up our OP slides for the first trial run.

Apparently, everyone was so busy with their other commitment that we hardly had time for the 5 of us to meet up.

I remembered standing at the road opp BP Govt High with Wei Wen and Eugene last Thursday, just to discuss on which day to meet up...

Its silly of us, isnt it?

Haha.

Anyway, we met up on Friday late evening, after eveyone's CCA.

Hmmm.

Was an "effective" meeting though.

We bridged the whole night.

Didnt do anything.

So, gotta meet again on Sat.

Met with Jia Xin and Wei Wen in the afternoon to do the slides.

At first still got the momentum.

But we somehow lost the energy and the passion just died off.

So we went for dinner.

It was quite shocking to see such a small sized guy eating at "gargantuan" amount.

This plate of rice actually costs him $3.80.

4 dishes and he is not enough.

He ate another plate of fried carrot cake.

Isnt he a big eater?

Anyway, we didnt have the mood to continue doing after our meal.

So we turned to gossiping as usual.

The only time that we really felt the pressure was on the day before.

Everyone got to meet up and we got down to work asap.

Finally produced something that was kinda not up to expectation though.

But after editing, it wasnt that bad afterall.

Had our trial run today.

We were all nervous, especially Wei wen.

Remembered that he told me that its only a trial and that theres nothing to worry about.

But he ended up being more nervous than i do.

Haha.

I wrote a script.

But i didnt take it out.

Shit man!!!

I forgot what i wanted to say!!!

In the end i only spoke for 3.45 min instead of 5.

Its ok.

Got some feedbacks from the teacher though.

Positive:

clear, confident

good content knowledge

good intonation

some interesting slides (initial proposal)

good emphasis at impt points

Negative:

try not to turn and look at the screen too often

smile more

some slides are too wordy

This was the animation that enticed the teacher.

Was quite please with those remarks though theres lots of improvements that need to be done.

Will have our second trial next Monday.

Hopefully we will be able to do much better.

Wat a new experience i had!!!

We had our enrichment day today.

First is a talk in the hall by some person from who knows where.

Next up was career seminar that we signed up before promos.

Suay enough, i was chosen as the one of the mcees for the public service seminar held in LT1.

I was utterly frightened when i stood in front facing the audience.

Actually, i was ok without the microphone.

But the moment Preben (the other mcee that was super tall) passed me the mic, i started to freak out.

I just couldn't speaking when there is a mic.

When i tried to hold the mic further away, i realised that i could speak more fluently.

Isn't this miraculous?

I was not afraid of the crowd. but the mic!!!

Wat a phobia i have.

Anyway, it was really a cool experience for me.

Though i just cant stand my voice from the mic, but i wanna say that nobody would actually remember who the mcees are for any events.

After all, we are not the limelight.

Haha. At least this is how i console myself, after all the stammers and mumbles.

Well, after which was a social etiquette and grooming workshop conducted by Joshua Luke.

His is quite charming when he catwalks.

Haha.

A humorous guy though.

The whole place was filled with laughter from the moment he stepped into LT4.

Love his talk man.

The last item for the day was Pilates that i've signed up.

Hmmm, still prefer the Yoga session that i had back in secondary.

The latter was more fast paced and more challenging.

Haha.

Shall end my day now.

PJ had the annual interhouse games today...

It was super boring...

Only exciting when it comes to basketball matches played by the guys in my class...

Wahaha...

Spectators had nothing to do but to watch them play for hours...

Hai...

Felt that i've wasted my day anyway.

Would have been better if i were to spend my afternoon at home sleeping...

Haha.

Oh.

Happen to see Gui hao when i was watching the matches.

She was on duty. (media club- busy taking photos)

I played with her toy.

Took lots of photos with it.

Photos of S25 when they are playing soccer and basketball.

Sort of bias, cos i refuse to take pictures of other participants.

Hahaha.

She promised not to delete away my photos.

So bored at home!!!

4 days of slacking is killing me...

Theres nothing i can do...

I dun like to take afternoon naps...

Theres no shows to watch...

Finished my puzzle in one day...

The only thing i can do is I&R...

This is so terrible.

Gotta do PW right after promos.

Its due on Friday.

No choice.

Hmmm.

Shall show u what i've done for the past two days.

I finished this puzzle on Monday.

Quite pleased with myself.

Cos i fixed it without using the alphabet behind.

Happy Children's Day!!!

Its been 5 years since my last Children's Day...

Haha. Wanna say that, i've nv stop celebrating this day since 12...

Cos of my brother... But its his last year today too.

Wonder if we will still receive presents from my mum next year...

Anyway, DD, Star and WW will be leaving for Genting tomolo morning.

Gotta coach my bro for PSLE that will commence on Wed.

Couldnt celebrate DD's birthday with her.

So just wish her Happy Birthday in advance and hope that she would enjoy herself there.
