ORAL PRESENTATION
Last week was a hectic wan.
Had to do up our OP slides for the first trial run.
Apparently, everyone was so busy with their other commitment that we hardly had time for the 5 of us to meet up.
I remembered standing at the road opp BP Govt High with Wei Wen and Eugene last Thursday, just to discuss on which day to meet up...
Its silly of us, isnt it?
Haha.
Anyway, we met up on Friday late evening, after eveyone's CCA.
Hmmm.
Was an "effective" meeting though.
We bridged the whole night.
Didnt do anything.
So, gotta meet again on Sat.
Met with Jia Xin and Wei Wen in the afternoon to do the slides.
At first still got the momentum.
But we somehow lost the energy and the passion just died off.
So we went for dinner.
It was quite shocking to see such a small sized guy eating at "gargantuan" amount.
This plate of rice actually costs him $3.80.
4 dishes and he is not enough.
He ate another plate of fried carrot cake.
Isnt he a big eater?
Anyway, we didnt have the mood to continue doing after our meal.
So we turned to gossiping as usual.
The only time that we really felt the pressure was on the day before.
Everyone got to meet up and we got down to work asap.
Finally produced something that was kinda not up to expectation though.
But after editing, it wasnt that bad afterall.
Had our trial run today.
We were all nervous, especially Wei wen.
Remembered that he told me that its only a trial and that theres nothing to worry about.
But he ended up being more nervous than i do.
Haha.
I wrote a script.
But i didnt take it out.
Shit man!!!
I forgot what i wanted to say!!!
In the end i only spoke for 3.45 min instead of 5.
Its ok.
Got some feedbacks from the teacher though.
Positive:

- clear, confident
- good content knowledge
- good intonation
- some interesting slides (initial proposal)
- good emphasis at impt points
Negative:
- try not to turn and look at the screen too often
- smile more
- some slides are too wordy
This was the animation that enticed the teacher.
Was quite please with those remarks though theres lots of improvements that need to be done.
Will have our second trial next Monday.
Hopefully we will be able to do much better.
